Available in over 20 colors, elegant Cultured Marble Vanities, Tubs, Shower Pans, Splashes, Surrounds and Accessories from Austin Countertops turn a simple bath into a luxurious retreat.

  • Beauty - Elegant, luxurious appearance with ability to manufacture vanities, tub, pan, surrounds & trim in matching colors for flexibility of design & style.
  • Durability - High strength, resistance to denting, chipping, abrasion and staining.
  • Seamless - Vanity tops are cast in one piece (up to 12 feet in length) with integral bowls and coved backsplashes, thereby minimizing seams and costs associated with undermounted sinks needed with stone. Tubs are also cast with integrated deck and bowls.
  • Water & Mildew resistance - Smooth, non-porous surfaces keep mildew from developing and staining material.  Silicone sealed seams are much less likely to leak or mildew compared to ceramic tile installations which utilize porous grout.
  • Easy Care & Maintenance - Soft sponge with mild soap and water is all that is required for routine maintenance.

What is Cultured Marble?

Cultured Marble is a precise blend of polyester resin, catalyst, fillers and pigment that is thoroughly mixed and cast into molds that have been coated with a clear gel coat.  The gel coat is specially formulated to produce a tough, durable, transparent surface that is resistant to wear.  The chemical reaction initiated by the catalyst causes the resin to harden, thereby binding the entire mass together into a strong, solid piece.  After curing for several hours, the pieces are de-molded and the finishing process begins where all parts are trimmed, ground and polished.  After finishing, the pieces are inspected for quality, and upon passing inspection, are ready for shipment and installation.  Although Cultured Marble is a manufactured product created via a highly sophisticated, tightly controlled process, variances in shading, veining, patterns and colors will occur, as with all custom-made products.

*ACT Cultured Marble products are tested by Universal Laboratory, Inc., an approved testing facility through IAMPO, for thermal shock, direct impact, flammability, burn and stain resistance in accordance with ANSI standards.
